July 11 20152015-07-11A shrine scene in a white draped tent: a golden arched frame surrounds two standing deity murtis with gilded crowns, white and red garlands, and green and pink garments before a mint-green curtain. Flanking them are two smaller seated or standing figures in saffron and orange robes with garlands and a shaved-headed attendant in orange and white. Two orange triangular banners stand on poles beside the shrine. In front, a large brass multi-tiered oil lamp stands among potted green plants and pink flowers, with a blue cloth draped on the low platform below. No living people are visible.2015-07-02 +1 copiesJuly 02 20152015-07-02October 12 20152015-10-12July 02 20152015-07-02July 02 20152015-07-02A shrine scene with a gilded arched frame and green draped backdrop. Two bronze-toned statues of Shiva and Parvati stand under the arch, Shiva holding a trident and adorned with garlands and a crown, Parvati in a purple sari with floral garlands. Tall brass oil lamps (deepas) stand in front, with orange flowers and potted plants beside them. To the right, a robed figure in orange-saffron garments with a garland and red head covering appears to be a statue. White curtains and wooden pillars frame the shrine on a checkered floor. No living people are visible.2015-05-17July 01 20152015-07-01June 30 20152015-06-30Photo of a ritual worship at a shrine beneath a stone-pillared canopy. In the centre, a golden arched frame surrounds a deity murti of a seated Shiva-like figure with a red-and-orange head covering and a female consort in blue with a crown, both wearing garlands in yellow, orange and blue. A small red-clad figure with a garland lies in front. A standing priest in orange robes with a white garland holds a lit oil lamp toward the deity, while a seated devotee in orange with hands folded sits to the right. Brass lamps, kalasha-style vessels and a brass bowl surround the shrine, with blue curtains framing the sides.2009-01-02June 25 20152015-06-25 +1 copiesJune 27 20092009-06-27
