A green-clad lower seat holds a further figure adorned with a garland and jewelled necklace. Flanking statues wear red turbans and beaded necklaces, one with a tiger-striped garment. Brass oil lamps stand at the sides, and a garland of white flowers hangs over a kalasha-like offering in front. These are statues, not living people, so no physical people are present.2014-09-11January 19 20132013-01-19A photograph of a temple shrine with a large multi-armed deity murti in a gold-framed arch with a green silk backdrop. Two flanking standing figures in red and brown dhotis wear rudraksha-style garlands. In the foreground a smaller murti sits on a peetha with orange cloth, garlands, and a vibhuti-marked face, with a brass oil lamp on each side. The scene shows statues only, with no physical people visible.2014-09-14July 03 20152015-07-03A photograph of a temple shrine with a golden arched frame and green backdrop. A deity murti pair sits on a raised red-skirted base, with one figure wearing an orange turban and a trident in hand, and the other in a dark crown with white garments. Both are garlanded with orange, red and yellow flowers and wear ornate silver necklaces. Two attendant statues stand on either side: the left in a red cap and rust dhoti with a white and red garland, the right in an orange dhoti with a white garland. A large central murti with a blue-and-white face and a rudraksha-like bead chest is draped in flowers and a purple cloth. Brass oil lamps stand at the sides and a kalasha rests on the lower platform. Only statues are shown, with no physical people.2014-08-19
