A man in a rust-red and gold turban and matching red-orange dhoti and shawl stands at left, bare-armed, holding a small ritual vessel above the fire. Behind him on a purple cloth-covered altar stand three statues: a bald figure in saffron robes at left, a figure in white with a trident at centre, and a female figure in a red sari at right. The altar is garlanded with marigold and pink flower strings. A gold and red velvet throne stands at left, and brass plates, bowls and banana leaves are arranged on the floor.2014-06-28June 28 20132013-06-28Photo 11716610 +1 copiesJune 04 20152015-06-04 +1 copiesOctober 07 20132013-10-07A photograph taken at dusk or night of a priest seated cross-legged on a raised platform before a golden deity murti under a green canopy. He wears a red-orange turban, a saffron-orange shawl over a maroon robe, and white sacred markings on his arms. His hands are extended toward brass vessels and small silver puja items arranged on the floor, and lit oil lamps and scattered flower petals surround the ritual setup. Behind him are a red-and-white painted temple wall, a golden lion figure, and a small painted figurine on a pedestal. The scene appears to be a puja performed at a temple shrine.2014-08-21
