January 12 20152015-01-12A seated man in saffron-orange robes sits cross-legged on an ornate gilded golden throne with lion-head armrests and red velvet cushions, hands pressed together in namaste at his chest with eyes closed. He wears an orange turban with a jewelled brooch, a long multi-strand rudraksha mala, a gold pendant, and garlands of white flowers with red-and-green accents. Bangles adorn his wrists. A microphone stands beside him, a tiger-striped cloth lies on the seat, and a small wooden stool holds a framed portrait of a turbaned figure. Red drapes frame the stage. A priest in orange robes and a rudraksha mala holds a lit aarti lamp with flames and smoke, facing a seated man on a gold, lion-armed throne with a red cushion. The seated man wears an orange cloth, a long white and red flower garland, bangles, and sits with palms pressed together. Four monks in orange and white stand behind them with hands folded, and a white-draped platform with a red cushion lies in front. The appearance of the seated man is consistent with the a person cues of a throne, saffron clothing, and garlanded honour, though this is uncertain. Abhishekam or aarti is visibly suggested by the lamp.2011-12-08April 24 20152015-04-24
