A ceremonial scene under a white tent with pink-lit fabric. A bare-chested priest in a white dhoti with an orange border kneels at the lower left, holding a brass plate with a flame toward two seated men on golden thrones. The seated man at the centre, in orange robes, covers his face with both hands. The man at right, in orange robes with a yellow, red and green flower garland, a black rudraksha mala and a white horizontal forehead mark, sits with hands folded and eyes lowered. A standing attendant wears a white shirt with yellow lanyard and rosette.2015-01-12January 12 20152015-01-12Night ceremony under a decorated red and white canopy with gold and multicolour draping. A priest in orange robes and a rudraksha mala holds a lit aarti lamp with flames and smoke, facing a seated man on a gold, lion-armed throne with a red cushion. The seated man wears an orange cloth, a long white and red flower garland, bangles, and sits with palms pressed together. Four monks in orange and white stand behind them with hands folded, and a white-draped platform with a red cushion lies in front. The appearance of the seated man is consistent with the a person cues of a throne, saffron clothing, and garlanded honour, though this is uncertain. Abhishekam or aarti is visibly suggested by the lamp.2011-12-08Night ceremony under a pink and gold draped canopy. A shaved-headed priest in orange robes stands at left holding a flaming lamp and a bell, with a gold-rimmed kalasha-style object near him. Four men sit or stand in the middle: two in orange and two in white dhotis, hands joined in anjali. On the right, a seated man on an ornate gold throne with lion-armrest carvings wears an orange shawl, red cushion, a white and red flower garland, and holds his palms together with eyes closed. A white platform and red cushion sit before the throne. The scene looks like an aarti or puja.2011-12-08January 12 20152015-01-12September 14 20102010-09-14April 24 20122012-04-24December 08 20112011-12-08May 09 20152015-05-09 +1 copiesA photograph of a padapuja-style ceremony in a temple-like setting with a painted backdrop of a temple gopuram and a deity murti draped in garlands. A man in a long-sleeved orange saffron robe and a large garland of red and yellow flowers stands centre-right, hand raised to his brow, receiving a tray. A bare-chested priest in orange dhoti with white vertical tilak-style markings across his chest and arms, a rudraksha-like orange bead mala, and a topknot holds a silver tray of fruit, flowers and offerings. A second orange-clad attendant in a saffron dhoti and sacred thread stands beside him, with an older white-clad man and a uniformed attendant behind. A gold-and-red throne with cushions sits to the right, and gold offering plates with fruit and sweets rest in the foreground. Swamiji (probable): the garlanded orange-robed man with long swept-back hair, centre-right, is an appearance-based candidate given the saffron robe, garland and long hair, and he sits in the ceremonial role of the one being honoured beside the throne.2010-09-18January 12 20152015-01-12January 12 20152015-01-12
