Photo 11742835A procession of barefoot saffron-robed sannyasis and women devotees in rust-orange and maroon cloth walks along a tree-lined dirt road in bright daylight. Several men have shaved heads and wear rudraksha malas, and the women wear beaded necklaces and drape their garments over their shoulders. Behind them a decorated vehicle with a red, orange and yellow floral canopy carries a framed image of a deity and a flag on a pole. The group numbers roughly two dozen visible people, with some partly obscured in the background. No individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance, so roles are used.2013-11-15A barefoot procession walks along a paved rural road lined with green trees, with a decorated palanquin or ratha topped with a golden canopy visible in the background. Several devotees in matching rust-orange and saffron robes with rudraksha malas lead the group; a shaved-headed man in front-centre gestures with his hands, and women in orange saris walk alongside. The scene looks like a ritual procession with the decorated vehicle at the rear.2013-11-15November 15 20132013-11-15A procession walks along a dirt path between palm and tall trees in a rural green setting. Several devotees in saffron-orange robes and white clothing carry ceremonial items, including a tray and a few tall poles with orange streamers. Two colourful umbrellas (one red-and-patterned, one maroon) and a yellow-and-red banner are carried above the group. Many people are visible, mostly in orange or white, with a few children in the front-left area wearing red and light blue. A sign at the lower right is too small to read clearly.2006-10-21November 15 20132013-11-15August 28 20112011-08-28January 12 20092009-01-12A procession of young children walking down a paved road lined with palm trees and greenery. Girls and boys wear maroon and gold dress, while several boys in saffron-orange robes walk barefoot, some with shaved heads and white sacred markings on their foreheads. Two boys in the front-right raise long brass horns (ceremonial trumpets), and a girl in maroon carries a drum wrapped in red cloth. A man in white clothing stands in the background near a small red-roofed shrine and a road sign. The scene appears to be an ashram procession, with no identifiable a person visible.2013-06-19April 02 20122012-04-02November 15 20132013-11-15November 11 20132013-11-11
