July 20 20142014-07-20July 20 20142014-07-20A group of children sits on a pale tiled floor in a bright indoor hall, arranged in two facing rows with their legs extended and feet touching in the centre. Most wear casual school-style clothes: a boy in a white and blue top with brown shorts, a boy in yellow and black, a girl in orange, and a boy in yellow-and-blue striped shirt and plaid shorts. Two women in striped and red saris or kurtas stand among them, and a young man in a grey shirt stands at the right edge. Red curtains, a red mat and plastic baskets are visible in the background.2012-04-29April 29 20122012-04-29April 29 20122012-04-29Children sit in a long row on a polished cream floor in a bright hall, legs stretched straight out in front of them as in a seated stretching exercise. A boy in a black t-shirt and plaid shorts drinks from a water bottle at the front left, while a girl in a white t-shirt and green trousers sits nearby with a dark ponytail. Other children wear yellow, orange, pink, blue and green clothes. A small child in a green-and-white outfit sits alone in the foreground. Folded red and white mats, chairs and colourful bags line the back of the room.2012-04-29Outdoor photo on bare, dusty ground with patches of grass and trees behind. A large group of children and adults stands in a loose circle, many barefoot. A woman with white hair in a plain white kurta and white trousers stands center-back, facing the group. Girls wear red, orange and yellow salwar kameez and braids; boys wear checked shirts and blue shirts; several adults wear white kurtas with saffron/orange shawls or stoles, and one young man in a white kurta and dhoti-style wrap has an orange stole. An unfinished concrete building and a blue-and-white structure appear in the background.1999-01-01Outdoor photo on a bare sandy ground in front of a white building. A crowd of children and teenagers stands in a loose semicircle facing away from the camera. In the foreground, a woman in a white salwar kameez with an orange shawl and a woman in an orange-and-red patterned shawl and maroon checked skirt stand with their backs to the camera, hands clasped. A man in a white shirt with an orange scarf stands at the top left near the building doorway. Several boys wear white shirts and grey trousers, a girl wears a blue-and-white dress, and a pair of black sandals lies on the sand at right.2008-09-24Outdoor photo of a gathering on a dirt courtyard in front of a white building with a corrugated metal roof, a red painted stripe along its wall, and potted plants hanging from the eaves. A central figure in a full-length saffron-orange robe stands facing a second person in orange, with a group of children in mixed school-style and traditional clothing forming a loose circle around them. Several adults in orange, white and purple saris and kurtas stand along the verandah, and a few children in orange tops are scattered among the group. The central robed figure's appearance is not clearly distinctive enough to confirm an identity, so the figure is described by role only as a sannyasi in saffron robes.2008-01-25October 08 20122012-10-08October 08 20152015-10-08 +1 copiesSeptember 24 20082008-09-24
