A standing priest in a brown robe and gold-trimmed dhoti holds a tall multi-tiered oil lamp with many lit flames. In the centre, a seated priest in an orange robe performs rites before a small offering setup. Behind them, a golden doorway opens to a shrine with a framed portrait and a deity murti. Flanking the doorway are painted deity figures with multiple arms holding objects, and a gold throne with a lion-form base stands at the left. Brass lamps line the platform and a red valance hangs above.2013-12-04Photograph of a ceremonial stage setup, rotated sideways in the frame. A man in a maroon and gold-bordered dhoti stands at the centre, bending over a brass vessel and offering on a raised altar. Behind him is a framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" showing a figure in a saffron turban and ochre robes, set among gold-framed decorations. A trident rests on the red-draped platform, with a kalasha and fruit nearby. In the foreground, a figure in white ritual clothing sits near the altar. Two people in orange robes sit at the upper left edge, and a crowd is not visible beyond them.2014-07-20
