Most people wear white traditional clothing, with some women in red and orange saris and a few in saffron. Orange and red festoon bunting hangs along a grey block wall, banana plants flank the path, and several colourful ornate umbrellas are visible at the right. A man in a saffron-orange garment stands among the crowd. No individual is clearly identifiable as a person in this crowd view.2008-12-31March 10 20132013-03-10A procession on a dirt path lined with palm trees. Men in white hold a decorated red and blue ceremonial canopy (ratha-style umbrella) and tall poles bearing a fringed ornamental standard. A white van is parked on the right beside a man in a striped shirt, and orange and white flags fly from poles along the path.2008-11-11
