Around him, a woman in a white sari with a gold border stands bent toward a young boy in a patterned shirt who presses his palms together. Men in white shirts and white dhotis, a man in an orange shawl, and children in sweaters and patterned clothes stand close by, many with hands folded in namaskar, some holding a rudraksha mala and beaded necklace. A sandy, dug-up area is visible at the lower left. The scene reads as a devotee greeting on the ashram grounds.2006-12-26Outdoor photo of a crowd gathered around a central figure in an orange-saffron robe, wearing a multicolored flower garland with purple and white blossoms, a rudraksha mala, and a red bindi. The central man has long dark hair swept back, a white vibhuti-style mark on his forehead, a bare upper torso partly covered by an orange-saffron cloth, and multiple beaded rudraksha-style malas and gold ceremonial necklaces. He is smiling and surrounded by devotees. Around him, many people in white traditional clothes press forward; several girls with palms pressed together in namaste, a man in white with a dark rudraksha mala, a man in white and orange holding a long staff topped with gold, and boys in striped and colourful shirts. Behind them, flower garlands and orange-draped figures are visible near a decorated altar. A few brass bells are held by a group of women in white on the left.2008-12-23A photograph of a crowd gathered outdoors in a courtyard beside a banana plant and a barred window. In the centre, a bare-chested, shaved-headed man wears an orange-red dhoti with a gold-bordered shawl and a thick orange rudraksha mala, with his back to the camera, facing a figure in an orange-red robe wearing a large white and yellow floral garland. Around them, men in white shirts and women in colourful saris press forward with folded hands, several with flower garlands and marigolds. A woman in a red sari with white flowers in her hair stands at the right foreground, hands joined in greeting. The people appear to be greeting and receiving the robed figure during a visit.2014-07-04 +1 copiesAugust 08 20092009-08-08July 28 20082008-07-28December 28 20082008-12-28 +1 copiesA crowded outdoor gathering in a village courtyard with a concrete wall and banana plants behind.
