Around him many young men in white kurtas, white dhotis and yellow sashes stand beside blue plastic drums filled with water, some pouring water from buckets and cans. Behind them colourful striped and patterned umbrellas, a red and green festooned canopy and draped cloth tents shade a gathering. A deep blue signboard stands at right. Bright dry field and clear sky.2009-12-25Outdoor photo of a colourful festival scene under a open-sided corrugated roof on a sandy ground, with palm trees behind. Several young men and boys in saffron-orange robes stand around blue plastic drums, one pouring water from a bucket, another holding a hose, while a figure in a white dhoti-style garment is sprayed with water and coloured powder. Ground and puddles are stained pink, red and blue. A large crowd of onlookers, many in orange, pink and yellow saris, watches from the background. Several people appear in the photo, and a copper pot hangs from a rope between two red poles.2014-08-17A photograph of an outdoor ashram gathering on dusty ground under a cloudy sky. A metal gantry holds a hanging clay pot on a rope, and a long rope runs diagonally from it to the right, pulled by a line of people in white and light clothing. A bare-headed figure in a dripping white wrap and a pink-edged cloth, appearing soaked, is mid-air or leaping beneath the pot, while women in saris and a man in orange and red robes stand nearby, some holding blue barrels and tossing water. Spectators in white, grey and orange stand in the background. No clearly recognisable a person candidate is distinguishable by appearance, so identity is uncertain.2010-09-02Outdoor festival scene on a dusty open ground with a hanging clay kalasha pot decorated with flowers suspended from a pole at top. A person in a pink garment with a yellow waist cloth stands in the centre, arms raised, spraying or pouring water from a pipe as water arcs through the air. Around them, devotees in white clothes and pink saris gather, some holding red and orange containers, with a woman in a white saree and red shawl and others in white kurtas and saffron wraps in the background. Trees, a tin-roofed building and a water tank line the scene under a hazy sky.2011-12-13Outdoor photo on a dusty ground at an ashram campus, with a tall rust-coloured metal frame holding a hanging red vessel with a yellow top that pours water down. Several people in white ritual clothing, some bare-chested with gold-bordered white cloths and rudraksha necklaces, stand and bathe under the falling water. Others in shirts, a pink salwar and a red top gather with plastic buckets and blue barrels nearby. Single-storey brick buildings with green roofs, palm trees and a parked red van and white car fill the background under hazy sky.2011-12-13August 17 20142014-08-17September 02 20102010-09-02December 25 20092009-12-25Outdoor photo of a ceremony at an ashram compound.
