The musician in the centre wears a white shirt and white dhoti with a gold-bordered cloth across his lap; the man on the left wears a white shirt and white dhoti, and the man on the right wears a maroon shirt and a green-patterned dhoti. All three wear gold bangles and a red-and-white sacred thread, and the centre player has a red tilak on his forehead. A microphone stands on the mat in front, a small black bag sits beside them and a drum is partly visible at the far left against a white wall.2013-12-25November 10 20112011-11-10A photograph of a procession on a dirt ground outdoors. Four musicians walk forward together: a man in a white shirt and white dhoti beats a red-and-gold drum slung at his side, a woman in a yellow-and-purple sari plays a long brass horn, another man in white dhoti and shirt plays a brass horn, and a fourth man in white dhoti beats a large drum. Behind them, several people in white dhotis and white shirts walk along, and a red-roofed building and metal frames stand at the right under bright daylight.2011-11-10Outdoor photo of a temple musical group playing traditional wind instruments with bell-shaped bells. Three musicians in white dhotis and shirts wear orange-yellow tassel garlands, and the foreground player wears a peach shirt and maroon shawl with white forehead markings. A man in a red lungi stands among them. Behind them an orange wall, potted plants and a red-and-white pillar frame a Kannada signboard reading Sarva Darshan MEET the Master, with photos and the text Individual Healing and Blessings for all. A bystander in a blue shirt stands at left.2011-12-13A photograph of a street procession at a temple entrance. Several men in white dhotis and white shirts play large drums and horns; one drummer in front wears a white shirt and holds a dark drum slung on his chest, while another beats a large drum with sticks. A man in an orange-and-white outfit stands among them. Stone temple walls and pillars are behind the musicians, with a sunlit courtyard and a few onlookers in the background.2012-05-18A photograph of a musical ensemble performing against an orange wall. Six men in white dhoti and white shirts stand in a row. Four on the left play long wind instruments. On the right, a man in white beats a large two-headed drum with a green and teal drum body, while another man at the far right plays a smaller drum. The men wear white clothing typical of South Indian temple musicians, and the scene suggests a temple or ashram procession or festival performance.2010-07-21April 23 20132013-04-23December 23 20092009-12-23August 28 20132013-08-28
