In each panel a person's hands, in a red garment and bangles, pour yellow liquid from a brass vessel onto a murti. Top left, a small gold-coloured murti is anointed with a flow of yellow liquid. Bottom left, a seated white stone or yellow-coated figure of a sage in meditation pose receives the liquid as it runs over his head. Top right, a standing gold deity murti is showered with yellow liquid and droplets splash out. Bottom right, a gold figure on a pedestal is drenched in yellow liquid against a red-brown background. Graphic panels are a collage of murti abhishekam images with no physical people counted beyond the hands shown.2011-03-03May 08 20122012-05-08 +1 copiesOctober 01 20112011-10-01Photo 11683222December 19 20132013-12-19May 09 20122012-05-09 +2 copiesClose-up photo of a ritual exchange in a temple-like room. A man in white dhoti with gold-bordered cloth and a heavy gold bead necklace holds a silver plate of yellow-orange thread or kalava and ties it on another person's wrist; that wrist shows a green-and-clear bead bracelet and gold bangles. Beside them, a person in an orange-red saffron robe with gold border and a gold bead necklace with a pendant holds a second silver plate. Behind is an ornate gold-and-red throne-like chair, and on the right a tray with flowers, red cloth and small ritual items. Orange-painted walls surround the scene.2010-12-23
