In the foreground a woman in an orange sari with a red-and-gold border stands with palms pressed together in prayer. Beside her, a man in an orange robe and a tall decorated grey-and-silver crown performs a ritual gesture toward an elaborate golden deity murti. The murti is adorned with multicoloured flower garlands, a gold crown and ornaments, and is set on a gold peetha with a golden umbrella overhead and golden kalasha-style vessels nearby. Other people in white and orange clothing stand in the background near a red curtain.2010-11-21October 03 20112011-10-03 +1 copiesOutdoor photo of a decorated golden palanquin or ratha-style canopy with red and white garlands, peacock feathers and a purple cloth draped beneath it, set in front of a temple building with blue flags. A man in orange robes and a rudraksha-style ornament stands at left holding a silver vessel, pouring or offering over the shrine. Behind him two men in white dhoti and shawls stand near the canopy, and another person in white is at the right edge. Long, swept-back dark hair and orange clothing are visible on the central ritual figure, consistent with the page's description, but his features are not clear enough to confirm identity. Garlands of flowers hang from the canopy poles.August 28 20112011-08-28December 05 20112011-12-05Night outdoor ceremony at a golden palanquin or throne-like platform holding a deity murti decorated with garlands and a red-and-white canopy overhead. A man in saffron-orange robes stands at the left of the platform, hand raised near the murti. Beside him a man in white dhoti and cream shirt with a yellow cloth over his shoulder kneels with hands folded. Several men in white and yellow-trimmed clothing stand around the platform, one holding a small object near the front. The murti wears a crown and fresh flower garlands, with decorated fabric and lamps in the foreground.2010-11-19Photo 11682738 +2 copiesJune 05 20122012-06-05 +1 copiesPhoto 11683216
