A priest in white dhoti and shawl with red borders stands at left, seen from behind with a shaved head, holding a lit oil lamp aloft toward a large dark stone sculpture of a dancing deity. The murti stands within a circular arch of flame-like scrollwork, holding a long staff across its body. An orange-walled building with a window and ceiling fan is behind, and a night sky is above. Arm bands of white paint are visible on the priest's arms.2011-09-01September 01 20112011-09-01Photo 11691472August 31 20112011-08-31June 09 20152015-06-09Photo 11744050 +1 copiesPhoto 11742987November 25 20132013-11-25November 01 20112011-11-01December 06 20122012-12-06December 06 20122012-12-06A night-time photograph outside a building with orange walls. A man with long dark hair, white tilak on his forehead, red and yellow marigold garlands around his neck and a leopard-print wrap over an orange-brown cloth, holds a lit camphor aarti plate toward a large black stone deity murti with a trident, a crown-like headdress, a white and red garment and beaded necklaces. Red and yellow flower garlands drape the statue and red petals lie on its base, with an oil lamp on the ground nearby. Dark wooden sticks and a burning flame frame the foreground. This is an aarti offering before a deity statue.2013-03-02 +1 copies
