2010 - Photo AlbumJuly 27 20102010-07-27A photograph of a man seated cross-legged on a white stone platform outdoors, wearing an orange saffron wrap over his shoulders and an orange lower garment, with his hair pulled back and a red tilak mark on his forehead. He touches his forehead with one hand. Beside him an attendant in white shirt holds an orange-handled umbrella overhead, and an orange-robed person sits at the right edge. Behind them is a red and white wall with a yellow banner bearing text and a flowering shrub. a person appears to be the seated figure, distinguished by the saffron wrap, red forehead mark and umbrella attendance, but the identification is an appearance-based inference.2008-06-22A seated man in an orange saffron garment over white dhoti sits on a red quilted cushioned seat, with his bare feet resting on a brown patterned mat. He wears a long rudraksha mala around his neck and handles an orange cloth with both hands, appearing to fold or arrange it. Behind him, several men in orange and white clothing stand, one holding a long staff and another a flag-like pole, while a red and gold painted banner with figures hangs on the left. The setting appears to be an indoor hall.2008-03-26July 27 20102010-07-272010 - Photo Album +2 copiesA two-panel photo collage of a seated sannyasi in saffron-orange robes and multiple rudraksha malas, with a red tilak on his forehead. In the left panel he looks down reading a stack of printed white pages held in his hands. In the right panel he smiles, seated on an orange-cushioned throne decorated with yellow and red flower garlands, while a man in a white shirt bends forward toward him, and an ornate gold and carved temple backdrop appears behind. The person's appearance, robes, malas and throne setting are consistent with the a person candidate, but the identity is uncertain, so the a person field is unsure.2010-07-19January 28 20122012-01-282010 - Photo Album +1 copiesSeptember 12 20102010-09-12 +1 copiesA photograph of an outdoor gathering in a dusty, unpaved area with a brick wall behind. A man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing saffron-orange sleeveless robes wrapped around his shoulders and lower body, sits cross-legged on a white raised platform, gesturing with his right hand while speaking. Beside him, an older man with a grey moustache wears a white shirt, a beaded rudraksha-style mala and a gold pendant, and holds a microphone up toward the seated man. A steel vessel sits on the platform in front. Swamiji (probable): the seated man in orange robes with long hair is a candidate for the speaker, based on his distinctive saffron clothing and long hair; the bare-shouldered orange wrap and long hair are the qualifying cues.2008-06-22A seated man in saffron-orange sleeveless robes and dhoti sits cross-legged on a wooden seat outdoors, with a red-and-gold tilak on his forehead and a long rudraksha mala hanging to his waist. His right hand extends toward a small brass kalasha-style pot with a spout and handle at lower left, while his left hand rests on his knee. Behind him stands a white pillared structure decorated with red flowers and a yellow garland, with gravel and grass on the ground. The scene suggests a padapuja-style ritual offering at an open-air shrine.2010-07-19 +1 copies
