December 18 20112011-12-18A four-panel collage of a temple abhishekam ritual before a shrine of two decorated deity murtis draped in red and gold silks and framed by garlands of yellow, orange and purple flowers. In each panel, several people in saffron and orange robes pour water and milk from silver vessels over the murtis, and one figure in an orange garment stands at the centre holding a kalasha-like pot. Small white stone sculptures sit on the shrine platform, and brass oil lamps stand at the sides. The panels show the same ritual from different angles, with a white cloth-wrapped linga-like object and offerings visible on the platform.2010-02-12December 16 20112011-12-162011 - Photo AlbumA six-panel collage of temple rituals with deity murtis decorated with garlands in multicolour flowers, marigold and red blooms, and gold framing. In the upper panels, a figure in orange robes with long dark hair performs an aarti or puja by holding a lamp before a deity. In the middle and lower panels, the same orange-clad figure drapes and arranges flower garlands around murtis on ornate golden peethas, with kumkum-marked deities and offerings visible. The collage shows the ritual activity without identifying any person by face.2011-11-29 +1 copiesDecember 14 20112011-12-14October 26 20112011-10-26 +1 copiesDecember 15 20112011-12-15Photo 11683843 +1 copiesDecember 14 20112011-12-14Photo 11683947November 12 20102010-11-12
