A man with short dark hair sits cross-legged with eyes closed in meditation on a raised circular stone platform outdoors on a paved courtyard. He wears a green garment draped over one shoulder, a reddish-brown shawl, and a beaded necklace. A brass kalasha-style pot sits beside him on an orange cushion, with a small notebook or book nearby. Behind him are orange-brown stone pillars and green foliage. Appearance-based cues are insufficient for a confident identification, so the subject is described by role as a meditating devotee.Photo 11743963 +1 copiesJune 09 20112011-06-09 +1 copiesJuly 16 20112011-07-16 +1 copiesJuly 19 20112011-07-19July 18 20112011-07-18Photo 11742326 +1 copiesA photograph of a man seated cross-legged on an orange cushion in a meditative posture, eyes closed, with a dark hair bun. He wears an orange saffron-coloured wrap with a darker orange border, and a thin dark cord around his neck. A small brass vessel sits on the ground beside him. Behind him are grey stone statues of deities arranged on a lawn, with a red-orange building and green shrubs with red flowers. The caption identifies the page as a photo album; the seated figure's appearance is not clearly distinctive enough to confirm identity.July 20 20112011-07-20A man with long dark hair sits cross-legged in meditation on a low wooden seat placed over a circular stone-and-pebble bed decorated with pink flower petals. He wears a saffron-orange dhoti and matching upper wrap, with a long gold-toned mala necklace of beads and a flower garland around his neck, and his eyes are closed. A small brass vessel stands at the front edge of the circle. To the left, an orange-painted pillar or altar is hung with yellow and white flower garlands, and stone lamps or stupa-like forms stand in the background of a paved courtyard. The scene reads as a quiet meditation or puja setting. The sitter is shown in the photo with distinctive saffron clothing, long swept-back hair and ornate beads, consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji, and is identified by appearance only as a probable match.April 05 20112011-04-05A man with long dark hair sits cross-legged in meditation on an orange cushion on a stone platform outdoors. He wears saffron-orange robes with a green and gold border and a heavy ceremonial necklace of large gold beads, and has a red bindi on his forehead with his eyes closed.
