Two large orange-and-red clad deity forms are seated above a dark throne-like seat with a snake-hood motif. Below, a seated person in white with a saffron-and-gold wrap and a gold-embroidered head covering kneels before the shrine, with a brass lamp stand, a brass kalasha and a small offering tray in front. Red drapes frame the golden arch behind. The scene reads as a darshan and puja before the murti.2010-07-28August 05 20112011-08-05Photo of a temple shrine with a golden arch framing two large seated deity murtis dressed in orange and red silk with white and gold garlands, flanked by floral garlands in yellow, red, purple and white. A central shivalinga-style object on a golden base sits in front of them. To the left, a smaller seated figure in orange robes and rudraksha mala stands beside a red-draped pedestal, and a small orange-robed figure sits at the lower centre near brass oil lamps and offerings. Both are draped in garlands of marigold and red and purple flowers. Below them sits a smaller figure in orange and gold with a yellow turban and a pale face, also garlanded. Brass lamps and kalasha-like vessels stand at the base, with a green curtain and a standing figure in red at the right edge. There are no physical people in the scene.2012-04-30April 30 20122012-04-30 +2 copiesJuly 31 20112011-07-31A standing man in saffron-orange robes and a saffron shawl, with a beaded necklace and long dark hair, raises his right hand in blessing at the centre-left of a temple-style stage. Behind him stands a large golden deity murti with a trident and a conch-like figure, framed by a tall garland of red, orange, yellow and white flowers. A small silver lingam-shaped form with flower garlands sits in front, beside a golden shrine niche on the right holding a saffron-clad figure with a white garland. Brass lamps and a kalasha stand on the floor, with flower arrangements framing the stage. Several small figures in the background wear red and blue, and the scene is lit warmly.
