A shaved-headed priest in a rust-red robe with a saffron-orange shawl stands in the foreground holding a brass oil lamp (aarti) in his right hand and a small brass bell in his left. He wears layered rudraksha malas, a dark beaded necklace, a ceremonial bead wrap and beaded bracelets, with white and red sacred marks on his forehead and arms. Behind him, several young boys in maroon robes with gold trim sit on mats, some holding lit oil lamps and brass vessels. Brass puja vessels, a lit lamp and flower offerings are arranged on a blue cloth in the lower frame.2013-06-07June 18 20132013-06-18A shaved-headed man in saffron-orange robes and a long rudraksha mala sits smiling and holds a small brass bell and a lit oil lamp, with his right hand extended. A white sandalwood band marks his forehead with a red bindi, and white paste covers his upper arms.
