A photograph of a seated figure in a maroon and gold saffron-toned dress with a gold beaded necklace and a bare upper arm, placing a hand on the forehead of a young man in white kurta with an orange lanyard, who has his palms pressed together in reverence. A woman in white holds a sheet of paper beside them. Behind, gold deity murti and brass oil lamps stand against a red backdrop, with other white-clad devotees wearing orange lanyards and a standing person in maroon with rudraksha mala. The seated figure's appearance is consistent with the page's reference to a person, but the face and presentation are not distinctive enough to confirm identity.2015-10-06A photograph of a bare-chested robed figure with a rudraksha mala and ornate gold necklaces, wearing a saffron-orange cloth, applying a mark to the forehead of a seated man in a white shirt. The man's shoulder is held by the figure's hand. Behind them are gold-and-red draped deity decorations, a woman in a yellow sari, and a smiling man in a red turban with floral garland. Appearance cues are mixed and the figure's identity is uncertain, so the candidate is labelled unsure.2015-10-24July 21 20132013-07-21January 04 20142014-01-04A photograph of a blessing moment indoors in a temple-like hall with a gold lamp stand and red drapes behind. A figure in a saffron-orange wrap with a rudraksha mala and a gold necklace leans forward and presses a hand to the forehead of a young man in a white kurta with a lanyard. The young man holds one palm up in a gesture of receiving. The blessing giver holds a small folded paper in the other hand. Behind them, a seated figure in white with a long rudraksha mala and other people in white clothes watch. Flowers and greenery are visible at the right edge.2015-05-09A photograph of a seated figure in a saffron-orange and gold garment with a long rudraksha mala draped over the chest, hair tied back in a bun, extending a hand to touch the forehead of a kneeling man in a light blue striped shirt with an orange lanyard. Behind them, a gold lion-headed ceremonial seat or throne in the foreground, and several people in white and cream clothing stand and watch in a room with red drapes. The seated figure has distinctive long hair and saffron clothing with a rudraksha mala, so this appearance is a probable Swamiji candidate in an in-person blessing (Swamiji (probable)).2013-09-30A seated man in a saffron-orange robe with a rudraksha-style bead necklace and gold bangles places his right hand on the forehead of a devotee at a darshan. The devotee, in a checked button shirt, has his hands folded in anjali and a white cloth wrapped over his head and eyes. Behind them, a standing attendant in white dhoti with gold border and a lit lamp-like object are visible; a gold lion-shaped throne armrest and red cushioned seat frame the scene. Dark draped backdrop with a rope of hanging ornaments.2015-08-31September 03 20132013-09-03October 28 20142014-10-28A seated long-haired man in a rust-red shawl, bare-chested with a leopard-print wrap and a sweeping mane of hair, reaches out to press his palm on the forehead of a standing devotee. The devotee wears a white dhoti with a gold border, a red shawl printed with Sanskrit script, and has a sandalwood tilak with hands joined in namaskar. Behind them, a golden throne back and garlanded deity murti with gold ornaments and a kalasha-like tall stick form the setting. Swamiji (probable): the seated man shows long swept-back hair, distinctive adornments and red ceremonial clothing, so this is a probable Swamiji blessing a devotee.2014-12-26September 14 20142014-09-14October 04 20132013-10-04
