A red-painted cinder-block wall with a rectangular window opening dominates the centre, with bare grey concrete block walls to the left and a green corrugated roof panel to the right. Pale stone or concrete slabs line the base, with scattered footwear and debris on the ground. No people are visible.2007-05-19A photograph taken from above of a deep, brick-walled excavation pit at a temple construction site, with earthen floor and a wooden ladder leaning against the wall. Three men in orange ochre sannyasi-style robes stand or crouch inside the pit, one shaved-headed figure in orange standing near the ladder with his hand extended, another orange-robed figure at the right edge looking down, and two men in white and checked clothing crouch in the foreground beside a circular stone object on the floor. Another orange-robed person stands at the top corner of the pit. Shadows of people are cast across the brick wall. This appears to be the sanctum site preparation for a temple, with ritual purification activity described on the page.2006-11-20March 26 20172017-03-26November 21 20152015-11-21 +1 copiesJanuary 30 20142014-01-30July 28 20082008-07-28A construction site showing partly built concrete block walls with empty window openings under a corrugated sheet roof.
