Three men in the foreground wear rudraksha malas, sandalwood-paste tilak on their foreheads and arms, and orange or red shawls over bare upper bodies. The man in the centre sits with palms pressed together in namaskar, while the man at left and the man at right handle ritual items. A silver tray holds brass oil lamps, a small brass bell, a kalasha-style vessel, flower offerings and fruit. Young boys in orange robes sit behind them, and a figure in white sits at the far left edge. The bald-headed man at right, with a red-orange robe and ornate necklace, is a priest-attendant role; no visible appearance cues establish a person's presence.2014-09-22Dense group of young and adult devotees in saffron-orange robes with maroon shawls seated on the floor during a ritual, many with white horizontal tilak bands across their foreheads and rudraksha malas around their necks. Several hold their palms together in anjali mudra or sit with hands folded, and small oil lamps and offering plates glow on the floor in front. The scene suggests a satsang or puja gathering, with boys and men in the foreground and a watermarked archive copyright along the lower right. No single figure is clearly identifiable as a person from this image.2013-04-03November 16 20132013-11-16 +1 copiesA group of young boys and novices in saffron-orange robes sit cross-legged in a hall, eyes closed and mouths open as if chanting or singing together.
