Several men sit cross-legged on a tiled floor performing an aarti-style lamp offering with small brass oil lamps. Foreground, a bald man in saffron-orange robes with a gold-bordered cloth, white tilak on forehead and a rudraksha mala, holds a lamp near a brass plate with flowers and offerings. Beside him, a man in orange robes and glasses lifts a lamp and bell. Behind them, men in white dhotis with gold borders and bare upper bodies, marked with white sandalwood or vibhuti, hold lamps and brass vessels. A red curtain hangs at the back. A small boy in orange sits at the left edge.

A seated group of men in white dhotis and shawls perform an oil lamp ritual indoors. Many hold small brass lamps with lit flames, and brass plates, bowls and small copper vessels sit on orange mats before them. Most wear rudraksha malas and some have white sacred ash marks on their foreheads and arms. At lower right, a shaven-headed man in saffron-orange robes holds a lit lamp in his cupped hands. Blue plates with flowers and fruit and a folder rest on the floor, and a striped cloth hangs at upper right. Several men at the back raise lamps overhead.

A photograph of a group of shaven-headed priests in white dhotis and white shawls seated on a floor for a puja, with brass lamps, bells and small brass pots on a mat in front of them. Several men hold lit oil lamps and bells, and one priest on the right raises his arm to hold a lamp near his forehead. Their faces bear white vertical tilaka marks, and some wear rudraksha malas. In the foreground right, a tray holds fruit, flowers and kumkum-coloured offerings. Seven people are visible.

Several men seated on the floor in white ritual dhotis and shawls with maroon borders hold small brass oil lamps lit with flames during a ritual. The men in front have white horizontal tilak marks across their foreheads and rudraksha malas around their necks; one wears a gold bangle. Behind them, other participants in white are bending and seated, with a red curtain and a white wall in the background. The scene suggests a lamp-lighting worship ceremony.
