Outdoor homa fire pit built from reddish brick in a square, with a small smoking fire of wood in the centre. The brick rim is dusted with white powder and sprinkled with red and orange flower petals, and a thin string runs around the base. Behind it, a blue table holds brass bowls, a small brass vessel, a bundle of grass and a red cloth, with red cables on the ground. No people are visible in the frame.

Indoor ritual setup on a wooden floor for a homa. Brass plates in the foreground hold piles of dried sticks, grains and powders, red and yellow flowers, and a small red kumkum-like heap. A striped multicolour cloth lies beneath them. Behind, a stacked arrangement of yellow-wrapped packets is decorated with yellow flowers, and brass kalasha-style vessels, a brass lamp and metal bowls sit on the floor. At the upper left edge, a figure in orange cloth is partly visible. No people are fully in frame.

A homa fire pit built from yellow-ochre bricks decorated with white stripes and red dots, with pink flowers placed on the bricks. Burning embers and grey ash sit in the central fire, with an orange fruit and a reddish offering visible near the flames. Around it, several people in white clothes sit cross-legged, holding open books and ritual items; one person holds a steel plate of pink and orange flowers and garlands. Silver ritual vessels, a spoon and a wooden ladle lie nearby.

A row of rectangular brick fire pits, several built up in stacked brick, sits on striped woven mats laid over grass under a shaded canopy. Each pit has a brass vessel and brass ladle or spoon set beside it, with brass plates, small brass cups, and kumkum or orange-cloth offerings. Some plates hold white, yellow and pink flower petals and offerings. A dark bag rests at upper left and a standing person in grey clothing appears at the top right edge, partly cut off. No ritual participants are seated at the pits in the frame, and no one is visible at the front of the arrangement.

Overhead photo of an outdoor homa fire pit on bare ground dusted with white powder. Red bricks form a square enclosure holding small bundled wooden sticks and a brass bowl. A green-grey woven mat and a white paper plate with a small copper vessel lie in front, with a brick marked with white paint numerals and red kumkum dots. Stacked wooden sticks sit to the right. No people are visible.

A row of square brick fire pits on bare reddish-brown earth, each lined with cement-grey bricks and burning with open flames. Beside the pits sit brass bowls, a copper vessel with a handle, a large brass plate holding ash and small sticks, and folded green and blue cloths laid on the ground. The arrangement suggests a homa fire ritual setup. No people are visible in the frame.

Close-up of a homa fire pit built from yellow-painted bricks, with dry wood sticks laid inside the square opening and small yellow flowers scattered on the bricks. Behind it stand three glass or silver-rimmed kalasha pots topped with green mango leaves and yellow-orange cloth or coconut-like tops, with a saffron-orange cloth backdrop. No people are visible.

A photograph of an open-air homa or yagna setup under a shelter of trees and a canopy. Rows of unfired brick fire pits stand on woven mats in striped green, red and blue. Brass bowls, ladles, spoons, small brass lamps and kalasha-style vessels sit on each pit and on brass plates. Orange cloths are folded on several plates, and flower petals and fruit sit in small offering plates. No people are visible in the frame apart from a partial arm at the right edge and a pair of legs at the top left.
