A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne placing both hands on the head of a man in a white shirt and white dhoti who bows forward. The seated figure wears a long-sleeved saffron/orange robe and has long dark hair swept back; the man receiving blessing wears white with a red-and-white beaded necklace. Behind the throne is a gold repoussé backrest with a relief of a deity, edged with yellow and purple marigold garlands. To the left, a flower arrangement of white lilies and red roses sits on a white pedestal beside bamboo stalks and green draping. In the bottom left corner a man in an orange garment kneels and looks up toward the scene. The seated figure is an appearance-based a person (saffron robe, long swept-back hair, ornate throne), placed in a blessing (padapuja-style) moment; the page does not place him at this event.2008-10-18A photograph of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long, swept-back dark hair and a red bindi on the forehead, sitting on a red and black tiger-striped throne-like seat in front of an ornate gold backdrop with a deity relief. A kneeling man in a white shirt bows forward, his hand touching the seated figure's cheek, while a saffron-robed attendant stands at the left beside a floral arrangement of yellow marigolds, red flowers and purple orchids. The seated figure with those saffron robes, long hair and distinctive ornaments matches the presentation of the a person candidate, but the appearance is not clearly established from this view, so this is marked as unsure.2008-10-19October 18 20082008-10-18 +1 copiesA photograph of a stage ceremony. A figure in orange robes with long, swept-back dark hair, wearing a rudraksha mala and a gold necklace, sits on a red-cushioned gold throne and rests both hands on the head of a kneeling devotee in white kurta clothing with palms pressed together. A second person in orange robes kneels at the lower right, and a gold ornate backdrop with garlands of yellow, red and purple flowers surrounds the throne. Marigold petals lie on the stage floor and a small brass vessel sits at the bottom edge. The orange-robed figure on the throne fits the Swamiji (probable) cues of long hair, orange clothing, rudraksha mala and gold ornament, shown here in a blessing gesture.2008-12-25A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange sleeveless robes with long swept-back black hair, a white tilak and red bindi on his forehead, seated on an ornate gold-carved throne with red-striped cushions against a green wall. He raises his right hand toward the head of a man in white kurta and dhoti who bows forward with his head lowered. A third man in an orange-trimmed white garment stands at left, and another person in patterned clothing stands at the right edge. Green-leaved white floral decorations hang at the top left. The seated figure matches the Swamiji (probable) appearance cues of long swept-back hair and saffron robes, presiding in the role of a teacher giving blessings to a devotee.2010-08-08October 18 20082008-10-18 +1 copiesOctober 18 20082008-10-18 +1 copiesOctober 19 20082008-10-19July 23 20092009-07-23November 22 20092009-11-22November 17 20092009-11-17 +1 copiesJanuary 03 20092009-01-03
