A photograph of a seated figure in long flowing orange-red robes with long dark wavy hair, sitting on an ornate gold throne with red zebra-striped cushions, garlanded with yellow and purple flowers. Before them, a standing man in a peach-orange shirt leans forward with his palms raised near the seated person's face as if receiving a blessing. Another man in orange clothing sits at lower left beside a white and red floral arrangement, a brass figurine and bamboo leaves behind. The seated person is marked as a person by long swept-back hair, saffron-red robes and a throne setting.2008-10-18A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne placing both hands on the head of a man in a white shirt and white dhoti who bows forward. The seated figure wears a long-sleeved saffron/orange robe and has long dark hair swept back; the man receiving blessing wears white with a red-and-white beaded necklace. Behind the throne is a gold repoussé backrest with a relief of a deity, edged with yellow and purple marigold garlands. To the left, a flower arrangement of white lilies and red roses sits on a white pedestal beside bamboo stalks and green draping. In the bottom left corner a man in an orange garment kneels and looks up toward the scene. The seated figure is an appearance-based a person (saffron robe, long swept-back hair, ornate throne), placed in a blessing (padapuja-style) moment; the page does not place him at this event.2008-10-18 +1 copiesA photograph of a long-haired figure in an orange-red robe seated on a red zebra-striped cushioned throne in front of an ornate gold carved backdrop with a framed deity relief. On the left, a man with short dark hair and a moustache, wearing a white shirt and a gold bracelet, sits forward with palms pressed together in a namaste gesture. On the right, a person in saffron/orange robes and a red sleeveless top sits on a red and black tiger-striped cushioned seat in front of an ornate gold throne-back with carved detailing. The seated figure has long wavy dark hair, a red bindi, and raises one hand in blessing. Yellow and red flower garlands and white lilies decorate the scene, with green bamboo leaves behind. The person in saffron has a distinctive long swept-back hairstyle and saffron robes but the identity is uncertain from appearance, so the figure is described by role only.2008-10-18 +1 copiesJuly 07 20092009-07-07
