Two men on bicycles at the right edge, one in a checked shirt and one in a white shirt, ride along the dirt shoulder. A tall ornate gateway tower with colourful carved figures stands on the left beside a low wall, and tall palm and shade trees line the road under an overcast sky. A large yellow and pink banner stretches across the road with Tamil text and a figure in orange robes with a red head covering. Two more tall banners on poles show similar saffron-robed figures, one beside a flag pole flying saffron, white and green flags. Motorcyclists and a cyclist pass, and a small group of people stands on the right near a loudspeaker set. Tall orange-robed banner figures feature prominently; the people on the street are ordinary passersby and attendees.2006-11-25A photograph of a roadside street scene in a small town, with a large yellow banner strung across the road. The banner shows a portrait of a man with a white turban and a smaller figure in a saffron robe, with Tamil text announcing an arogya yoga programme. Two tall vertical banners beside the road show saffron-robed figures with orange cloths. Below them, a group of about a dozen people in colourful saris and salwars stands near a row of shops. A motorcycle with a rider, a yellow auto-rickshaw, pedestrians and more two-wheelers move along the road, and a man in a white shirt and dark trousers crosses in the foreground.2006-11-25January 30 20092009-01-30A busy street in a South Indian town with a wide paved road running through the centre. Pedestrians walk across the road, including a man in a white dhoti and a woman in a green sari. Several black motorcycles are parked on the right beside a row of shops, and yellow auto-rickshaws sit on the left. A white minibus stands in the middle distance. Tall trees line the left side, and utility poles with overhead wires run along the road. A large billboard on the right shows portraits of men, though the figures are too small to judge clearly. Power lines and a low hill appear in the distance under an overcast sky.2012-05-09 +1 copiesA roadside street scene in a small Tamil town lined with tall shade trees. On the left, a large blue billboard shows a smiling man with long dark hair, a red dot on his forehead, gold chains and an orange garment, labelled with a Tamil caption naming Paramahamsa Nithyananda and text about Chengam Dhyanapeetam. A second, smaller white banner stands behind it. Several people walk along the dusty roadside, cyclists and motorbike riders pass on the road, and a white jeep is parked near food stalls.2006-09-23
