Beside him on the left, a bare-chested attendant in a white dhoti with a green border and a gold-chain necklace walks ahead, and on the right a bare-chested priest in a white and gold cloth with a red waist sash presses his palms together. Behind them, a few more people in white and grey clothing and a yellow metal barrier are visible, with a camera operator at left.2016-11-11A photograph of a crowded temple entrance at night, with a bright sunlit glare on the left. A bare-chested man in a white dhoti stands near the doorway, and a man with long hair and a rudraksha-style necklace is at right. A woman with long dark hair in an orange-red garment stands in the foreground, and a man in a white shirt and white dhoti is at right. A grey-haired man in a black shirt is in the lower centre. A steel vessel stands at left beside a metal railing, and a blue-painted doorframe frames the entrance. On the grey block wall at right is a printed Tamil poster with a portrait photograph. No candidate for a person is clearly identifiable by appearance, so the identity is marked unsure.2009-01-12A photo of a group walking barefoot across a stone-paved temple courtyard, past yellow barricades with Tamil signage and uniformed police and guards in the background. A central figure with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange garment with a gold border and a marigold garland, and holds a small orange object. Around them, men in white dhotis and shirts, one carrying a long ceremonial staff, and a shaved-headed youth in white walk alongside, with a man in a white shirt and a boy in a white shirt also in view.
