Behind them is a gold ornate throne back, red velvet cushions, potted plants and rocks, with garlands of yellow and white flowers above. A printed card is held in the seated figure's other hand. Behind them are gold ornaments, a garland of red flowers, and red and purple draped cloth, with a standing fan at right. A seated woman with swept-back dark hair, a white tilak, a long red-and-yellow marigold and rose garland, gold bangles and a red-and-gold sari with a leopard-print cloth on her lap places her hand on the head of a man kneeling before her. He wears an ochre-brown kurta and bows his head. Behind them a standing woman in white clothing with a rudraksha-style mala and beaded necklace watches, beside a golden ornamental object draped in purple and garlanded with flowers, and a white cloth-covered vessel sits on the floor. This is a blessing or initiation moment; the seated figure is not clearly identifiable from appearance, so no a person candidate is asserted.2014-04-13February 08 20152015-02-08
