The older man, dressed in an orange robe, bows forward with his eyes closed. The seated figure sits on a gold-carved throne with red upholstery in a warmly lit room.2014-01-11A photograph of two men in close indoor contact. On the left, a man with hair tied in a bun, a white tilak on his forehead, a rudraksha mala around his neck, and an orange-and-gold saffron garment, places his right palm on the forehead of an older bearded man with long white hair and beard. The older man, wearing an orange padded jacket, has his eyes closed and hands raised in receiving. Behind them is a shimmering gold-and-red draped backdrop, with an orange chair and a brass vessel visible at the lower left. Two other people are partially visible at the edges.2014-01-07A photograph of two men in close, intimate contact in a temple-like hall with a gilded golden throne behind them and a red cloth-draped seat. The man on the right, with long dark swept-back hair, a thin beard, a red tilak on his forehead and a rust-red shawl over his bare chest, places his right palm on the forehead of a shaved-headed man on the left. That man wears an orange-saffron cloth over his shoulders, a long dark rudraksha mala around his neck, and a bracelet on his wrist, and has his hands raised in reverent acceptance. Water bottles and a golden tray sit on the red cloth below. The scene appears to be a blessing or anugraha moment.2016-07-07A seated man in an orange-brown saffron wrap and a dark rudraksha mala with a gold ornament at his chest places his right palm on the crown of an older, white-haired man in a white linen kurta and blue lanyard, who has his palms together before his face. Behind them hangs a deep red velvet curtain with a gold carved panel at left and a red cushioned seat. Two physical people are visible.2012-05-02 +2 copiesJanuary 11 20142014-01-11March 13 20132013-03-13A seated man with long dark hair in a low knot wears a gold-and-red garment and a layered gold bead necklace with rudraksha-style beads. He sits on a red cushioned seat beside an ornate gold throne and places both hands on the forehead of an elderly white-bearded man with long white hair, who wears an orange robe and bows forward. The setting is an indoor hall with a plain wall, a curtain and a small lectern-like stand. Two people are visible: the seated figure with raised hands and the bowing elder. Appearance-based cues on the seated man include the long swept-back hair, gold ceremonial necklace and gold-and-saffron clothing, so he is labelled Swamiji (probable) and marked in_person.2014-01-11July 14 20162016-07-14February 09 20122012-02-09
