A figure on the right wears a red-orange and gold sleeveless garment with a long red and yellow marigold garland and a rudraksha mala, and reaches out to touch the bowed man's head. Other people in white and saffron clothing stand around in an indoor hall with a golden throne and red drapes visible in the background. A gold ring and bangles are visible on the hands of the people in front.2013-09-27A photograph inside a temple hall where a bare-chested man in an orange saffron cloth is being garlanded with a thick pink flower garland and a white jasmine garland. A man in a white shirt and a man in a blue shirt raise the pink garland over his head while a young boy in a red striped shirt presses his palms together in reverence. Another orange-clad attendant stands at the right edge. Behind them are arched white pillars and a deity murti in an alcove, with a golden altar and a striped cloth visible at right. The scene suggests a garlanding honour during a visit, with several devotees crowding around. The man receiving the garland has long dark hair and a gold bangle on his wrist; his appearance is not sufficiently distinctive to confirm an identity, so he is described by role.2012-06-03 +1 copiesOctober 27 20132013-10-27A photograph of a ceremonial moment in a hall with a draped white and red canopy. A man in white kurta and dark-rimmed glasses holds a folded white paper over the head of a seated, bare-chested man wearing a saffron-red shawl, a long gold bead necklace and a white jasmine garland with orange flowers. The seated man wears a gold armlet and gold ornaments and bows his head. A man in dark blue shirt on the left presses his palms together in anjali. Behind them stand white-clad attendants and saffron-robed sannyasis, and a projection screen shows deity imagery. Two physical people appear clearly in the foreground, with several others behind.2013-04-06 +1 copiesSeptember 27 20132013-09-27July 25 20122012-07-25March 17 20132013-03-17September 27 20132013-09-27Indoor photo of a blessing moment. A bald-headed man in white shirt with a light red stripe bows his head while a young man in white shirt, smiling, rests a hand on his shoulder. A woman with long dark hair decorated with orange flowers and wearing a white and gold garland of jasmine and red and yellow blooms raises her right hand with a bangle to his head in a blessing. Behind them, several people in white dhotis and shawls, some with bare upper bodies, stand near a red curtain and shelves with framed pictures. A figure in the right foreground wears an orange and gold cloth. No candidate for a person is clearly visible; the blessing giver is a woman in a garland, not a clearly identifiable a person.2017-03-26September 27 20132013-09-27
