July 04 20132013-07-04Golden shrine arch framing a large gilded and painted murti of a seated deity couple against a red velvet backdrop. The male deity wears a red turban and crown, a blue dhoti-style lower garment, layered silver jewelled necklaces and holds a trident, with a damaru-like hand object. The female deity wears a red and orange sari, silver necklaces and a dark headdress with crown ornament. Between them, a tall silver shivalinga-like object is garlanded with marigolds and yellow flowers. Below, a small seated figure in saffron robes with a rudraksha mala sits in front of brass oil lamps and puja vessels. The scene is an image shrine rather than a live gathering, with no physical people present.2010-07-09December 10 20162016-12-10January 02 20102010-01-02 +2 copiesA decorated deity murti group on a gilded arch before a crimson velvet backdrop. Two large golden-hued statues sit above, the left one holding a trident-like staff and a raised hand, the right one wearing a jewelled crown and a green sari with a long silver staff. In front, a headless red-and-orange cloth-draped figure sits on a seat, wreathed in pink and yellow flower garlands, with rudraksha beads and a gold waistband, while a small copper figure stands in a niche at the base. No living people are visible; the scene is a sculptural tableau.2013-04-25June 17 20162016-06-17A gilded arched shrine framing two ornately decorated deity murtis seated side by side against a red velvet backdrop. The figure on the left wears a red turban and crown, a trident-like staff, and layered silver-jewelled necklaces; the figure on the right wears a black and white ornamental headdress, a white and gold sari, and a nose ring. Garlands of yellow and red flowers hang from both figures, and a golden kalasha with a snake-hood motif sits between them. In the foreground a dark silhouetted figure, shown from behind with a raised arm, partially blocks the view. The image is a photograph of a temple shrine with no visible living person apart from that partial silhouette.2010-07-13A decorated deity murti of a male and female pair, seated on a pink draped platform before a red velvet backdrop framed by an ornate gold arch. The male figure wears an orange turban with a crescent ornament, a jewelled necklace with green stones, and holds a trident and a small drum; the female figure wears a purple and orange sari, jewelled crown and a matching necklace. Both are garlanded with yellow and magenta flower strings. In the foreground a white-clad figure with a blue head covering and an orange-and-white turban sits in front of a gold and green-bordered cloth, bearing a jewelled headdress and necklace, appearing to be a lifelike statue or devotee; the foreground figure's identity is uncertain.2010-09-15June 13 20092009-06-13May 27 20132013-05-27September 22 20142014-09-22 +1 copiesMay 26 20132013-05-26
