In the centre, a man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with a long garland of white and red flowers and gold necklaces walks smiling, with a tilak on his forehead and a headband. Beside him a shaved-headed man in white dhoti, bare-chested, with ash markings and a gold chain, holds an umbrella-like staff. Other attendants in white, orange and maroon clothing carry silver staffs and a gold-rimmed fan, with rudraksha malas around their necks. Ornate temple carvings line the background. Text on the page and captions aside, the scene shows a ritual procession with attendants and ceremonial staffs.2012-06-05Crowded outdoor procession at the Ujjain Kumbh Mela, with saffron-robed sadhus walking beneath orange and green ceremonial umbrellas. Right side, men in white kurtas and a man in pink wrap hold their hands together in devotion. Behind them, an orange-clad man and crowd, orange and yellow umbrellas, a golden temple shikhara and a red flag.2016-04-24April 18 20162016-04-18December 23 20162016-12-23April 18 20162016-04-18June 24 20142014-06-24 +1 copiesJune 24 20142014-06-24Outdoor street procession in India with a crowd of onlookers.
