A smiling man in a white embroidered sherwani and cream turban, with a white-and-red flower garland around his neck, stands at left with his hand resting near the mound. At right, a man in orange robes reaches toward the food, with a white cloth bundle and flowers beside it. Behind them are yellow flower-covered backdrops, a brass horn, drums and white and pink draped fabric under a canopy.2009-01-01 +1 copiesA group of devotees in white dhotis and orange shawls press their hands onto a large cylindrical mound of yellow-ochre paste on a gold-edged tray over a red floor. A grey stone lingam-shaped base is visible beneath. A man in a cream jacket with an orange shawl stands at the left, and a brass vessel sits at the top right. The scene reads as a temple ritual with offerings.2008-01-01Close photo of a person's hands offering a mound of yellow rice mixed with raisins or dried fruit, cupped in a palm. The wearer has a white full-sleeved garment with gold trim, a black and orange wrist band, a wristwatch, and a rudraksha mala across the chest. A silver aluminium tray of the same yellow food sits at lower left, and a second arm in white sleeve holds a bowl or offering at left. The setting suggests a food offering ritual with prasad and bright background.2016-12-18Close photo of a person's hand and forearm reaching into a large ornate silver bowl filled with a golden-yellow paste of grains or powder mixed with small pieces. The hand wears a beaded bracelet and a gold necklace is visible at the shoulder. The person wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over the lap, and more orange fabric hangs in the blurred background. The scene suggests a ritual preparation or offering, with soft warm lighting.2015-10-23A large round mound of golden-yellow sweet. A garland of red and orange flowers is tied along the top edge. The offering hand wears a red thread bracelet on the wrist and a reddish-orange cloth lies beside it. Behind them are metal trays and a brass vessel filled with yellow food. No identifiable a person is visible in this frame; the scene shows only two people's hands and arms in the foreground.2017-07-03July 12 20162016-07-12Close view of a hand, arm bare, reaching toward a large polished silver bowl heaped with yellow grains that look like turmeric-coloured rice or prasadam, with green bits mixed in. The hand holds a small pinch of the yellow mixture, palm up. The bowl has embossed floral and arched patterns on its rim. Behind, a blurred figure in a yellow garment with a red sash and a purple backdrop suggests a ritual setting, but no face or identity is clear.2014-12-28
