A photograph of a ritual at night on a striped multicoloured mat. A seated figure in a saffron-red robe, with long swept-back hair, a vibhuti mark on the forehead, a gold ceremonial necklace, rudraksha mala and gold armlets, sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with his palms pressed together in greeting. Beside him a standing priest in a white dhoti with orange-and-teal borders, a yellow headband and a bare chest holds a small vessel and pours from it over a brass oil lamp with a visible flame, marking an aarti or puja. Red and pink flower garlands rest on the throne arms. Brick walls and a doorway form the background.2017-06-23December 05 20162016-12-05June 23 20172017-06-23September 10 20172017-09-10 +1 copiesApril 26 20182018-04-26 +1 copiesA photograph of a shaved-headed, long-haired man with a white tilak on his forehead seated on an ornate gold-and-red throne, palms pressed together at his forehead in prayer. He sits on an ornate silver throne with a red cushion, one hand raised in blessing toward a devotee on the left, who presses palms together in namaskar and wears white dhoti with gold border, white shawl and a white headband. Orange-robed attendants stand in the background beside brass lamps and a pillar, in a temple-like hall.
