Photograph of a welcoming moment in an orange-walled courtyard. A woman in an orange sari places a garland of flowers over the head of a young girl in a white dress and white dupatta. A woman in a green sari stands at left holding a tray of garlands, and another woman in a yellow-and-white sari holds more garlands. Behind them, several women in white, green and orange saris stand near the red-and-white pillars and railing, and a woman with short grey hair in white clothes stands at right beside a participant in a white shirt and beige trousers wearing a name badge.2011-07-01January 16 20162016-01-16December 15 20062006-12-15May 10 20142014-05-10July 09 20122012-07-09A seated woman in a deep red sari with a leopard-print blouse and marigold garlands receives the hands of an older man kneeling before her in a hall. She wears gold earrings, a bindi and a sandalwood tilak, and is smiling. The kneeling man wears white trousers, a white shirt and a red sleeveless vest with glasses and a wristwatch. Behind them, a tall pillar is wrapped with marigolds and white flowers. Standing women in white saris and a woman in a red shawl watch, one with hands raised in namaskar. Gold ritual items sit at the lower left, with a patterned red cloth nearby.2014-05-17Photo of a seated figure in a long saffron-orange robe with a red flower garland and white jasmine-style necklace, hands pressed together in namaste on a gilded throne with carved lion-like armrests. Around him, devotees in white clothes sit on red and patterned mats; several women wear yellow shawls and braids, and an older man in white holds a brass or silver offering. Nearby are plates of fruit, flower petals, brass vessels, a framed photo, a fan and stacked books. The setting is a draped, tent-like room with yellow and cream curtains. The scene suggests a puja or padapuja offering in front of the seated figure.2009-11-20May 17 20142014-05-17May 04 20142014-05-04A crowded covered hall at a temple-style event, with a tall orange cloth canopy suspended from ropes in the left foreground. Women in white and cream saris with vermilion and sandalwood marks on their foreheads stand near the canopy; one woman in a white sari holds a small item in her hands. Others wear purple, pink and red saris, and a woman in the centre has a white flower garland. A man in an orange shirt stands at left, and a girl in an orange dress stands at right. Rudraksha beads are visible on several women. Many more people stand in rows toward the back of the hall beneath corrugated metal roofing and strings of decorations.2009-06-09A man in a plain white shirt and trousers leans forward to place his hands on the head of a woman wearing a yellow-gold sari and a large orange-red turban, with a white and red beaded garland hanging at her side. Behind them, several women stand in a row in saris of yellow, green, orange and teal, some with hands folded in namaskar. A white floor standing air conditioner and a dark red curtain frame the indoor hall.2014-07-05A seated figure in a saffron-orange turban, orange sleeveless robe and gold chains with a rudraksha mala on a white-draped seat receives devotees in a hotel hall. A man in a white shirt presses his palms together in greeting while leaning forward, and a woman in a cream sari kneels with her hands resting on the robe. Behind them, people in white sarees and white clothing stand and watch, with gold-rimmed brass items and rudraksha beads placed on the white cloth in front. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure wears a saffron turban, long swept-back hair, orange robe and gold necklaces, consistent with his presentation.2009-09-15
