A seated figure with long dark hair wound up in a bun, wearing a crown of rudraksha beads, a multicoloured garland of white, orange, red and purple flowers, and a rust-red cloth, extends his right hand in blessing onto the head of a kneeling young man in a white shirt with red suspenders and folded palms. A probable Swamiji (probable) figure is seated on a red cushion, with long hair, rudraksha mala and ceremonial garland cues. Behind them, several women in orange and rust-red saris with rudraksha malas and white vibhuti marks stand in front of ornate gold-carved temple walls. Brass and offerings sit on a tray at the lower edge.2016-01-16A photograph of a seated figure with long dark swept-back hair, wearing an orange saffron cloth draped over the shoulder, multiple rudraksha malas and a rudraksha bracelet, reaching forward and placing a hand on the crown of a man's head. The recipient, in a white shirt with short grey hair, bends forward with palms together. A bald man in orange robes sits to the right, and garlands in green, blue, yellow and orange hang in the background beside a golden deity murti. The figure matches the Swamiji (probable) profile with long hair, orange clothing and rudraksha malas, and performs a blessing with a folded white sheet held in hand.2012-04-14September 20 20152015-09-20A seated figure with a shaved head? No: a figure with long dark hair wearing a rudraksha-style beaded necklace, a gold bangle and a maroon-and-gold draped garment places one raised hand on the forehead of a man in a white kurta with an orange-red shawl. The recipient stands with palms together at his waist while the officiant holds a folded paper in the other hand. Behind them stand women in white and orange clothing and gold-embroidered draperies, with a golden ornamental panel at left. The scene appears to be a blessing or darshan ritual inside a temple setting.2015-10-24May 17 20142014-05-17A seated woman in a deep red sari with a leopard-print blouse and marigold garlands receives the hands of an older man kneeling before her in a hall.
