A person in an orange-saffron robe with a bright orange head covering and a white shawl with a garland stands at centre, smiling, while many men in white dhotis and white shirts surround them, several with hands clasped in greeting or reaching to them along the rail. Some men wear orange sashes. The people appear to be moving together on the stairs. The centre figure's dress and headwear are distinctive, and the page names a person as present, so a probable identification applies: a person, in person, walking among devotees in saffron clothing with an orange head covering and white shawl.2008-07-29October 15 20082008-10-15A dense crowd of men in white shirts and dhotis fills a night-time street outside a temple courtyard with white railings and string lights overhead. At the centre, a man in an orange-saffron turban and orange shawl, with long hair and a beaded mala necklace, stands with palms pressed together in greeting while others reach toward him. Several men wear red lanyards or red garlands. A camera operator on the right holds a video camera and wears a wristwatch.2003-11-09A crowded indoor scene in a yellow-walled hall with red wooden doors and a bright light source at the top. A bare-headed man in a long-sleeved white shirt and dark trousers stands center-left, while a shaved-headed figure wearing an orange-saffron cloth and a long garland of white and red flowers is pressed among devotees. Several men in white shirts, a man in a maroon shirt, and people with orange turbans or head cloths surround him. A cameraman in the foreground holds a large video camera, and another person films with a handheld device. Many hands are raised toward the central figure as people crowd around to see him.2014-06-19July 29 20082008-07-29
