Making Of Sacred Arts UniversityDecember 06 20072007-12-06A weathered, rusted green-painted metal trunk sits on a white tiled floor. The lid is dented and speckled with rust, with brass-toned latches on each side and a central carrying handle with a lock plate. Cardboard boxes are stacked in the background. No people are visible. The paint is peeling and stained, with dark streaks running down the lower panels. A brass latch sits at the centre where the doors meet. Thick pillars with carved column capitals frame the doorway, and a stone threshold is littered with broken terracotta roof tiles, dry leaves and debris. No people are visible in the scene.Close-up photograph of granite steps or stone architectural mouldings. Several horizontal bands of speckled grey granite run across the frame, with dark grooves between them. The lower part shows rounded, convex stone surfaces with vertical striations. No people, deities or ritual activity are visible.2007-09-24A photograph taken from above showing a banded krait-like snake coiled on a grey, gritty ground surface. A weathered rock or stone slab lies in the lower centre. At the left edge, an elderly man's bare, sun-darkened arm and hand rest near the snake, wearing a checked plaid garment. Two people in white trousers and sandals stand at the top edge of the frame. The scene appears outdoors on rough pavement or earth. No ritual activity, deity, or ashram setting is visible, and no person can be identified as a person.2013-12-02May 11 20122012-05-11 +1 copies
