A small square concrete structure under construction, with grey plastered walls, a tiled roof edge and loose bricks laid along its top and base, stands on red earth. Bamboo or timber poles with lashed cross-beams frame it, and palm trees and green foliage rise behind. Stacked bricks, rebar and a pile of cut timber lie nearby. No people are visible.2006-12-12Outdoor construction site with stacked grey stone blocks and a yellow excavator-type machine near a stone-walled foundation. Several workers in lungis and shirts stand or crouch around the stonework, and a man in a blue shirt kneels at the lower left. Behind them a small ornate canopied palanquin or ratha-like structure is being moved, with a group of people in white dhotis and shirts carrying or walking beside it. A tall scaffolding tower and coconut palms frame the scene under a pale sky.2006-12-14A photograph of an outdoor construction site at a temple foundation in a dry, open area. Several tall vertical steel rebar cages stand in red-brown excavated earth, held by wooden formwork boxes at their bases. Workers in light shirts move about the pit; one stands on a bamboo ladder and two others crouch low in the trench. Bamboo ladders, a coiled hose, wooden planks and stacked lumber lie scattered in the mud, with puddles of standing water at the lower left. Green shrubs, trees and low walls fill the background under an overcast sky.2009-07-09December 12 20062006-12-12A construction site at an ashram compound with a large pile of red earth and broken stones in the foreground. On the left stands a bamboo scaffold tower built around a grey concrete base, beside a white pillar. Behind are a small white building with green roof, a pink-walled building with corrugated roof, and tall palm and other trees. Three people in light clothing stand near the white building. A roadside signboard on the right shows a portrait photo and printed text.2006-12-12Aadheenam Construction 20092009-01-01 +1 copiesA photograph of an open dusty construction site behind a wire-mesh fence held by concrete posts. A low red-brown brick or earth retaining wall runs across the middle ground, with scattered rubble and dry leaves on the bare ground. Bare-branched trees, a palm tree and a utility pole stand in the background, with distant quarry-like hills and haze beyond. No people are visible.2007-03-22Outdoor construction site on dusty red-earth ground at an ashram compound. A tall scaffolded steel frame rises at centre around a vertical pole on a concrete base, surrounded by rebar cages, metal formwork panels and rubble piles. A yellow backhoe loader sits at left beside sand heaps. Palm and tall trees line the background, with a small white-walled shed with green roof at right where a few people stand near a table of materials. No clearly identifiable people are the main subject; the overcast sky frames the scene.2006-12-12A construction site with a large mound of reddish-brown earth in the foreground and a row of grey crushed stone lining a concrete edge on the right. A red tractor pulling a blue tipper trailer is dumping soil in the middle distance, with a worker near it. A blue signboard stands on the left among cleared sandy ground, and an unfinished multi-storey concrete building with scaffolding rises in the background beside a blue tarpaulin and a large red water tank. A single small figure stands at the far right edge near the wall.2009-10-15Aadheenam Construction 20092009-01-01 +1 copiesA photograph of an unfinished construction site on a hillside with red-dirt ground, piles of grey gravel and rubble in the foreground, and a concrete foundation with exposed rebar. Two rust-red shipping containers sit behind a line of white poles and bundled timber, with a brick wall at left. Beyond the fence, palm and leafy trees and red-roofed buildings stretch toward a hazy town skyline. No people are visible and no ritual, deity or a person appears in the scene.2013-07-14April 2008 - Making Of Kailaasa In Tiruvannamalai
