Dusk photograph beneath a huge banyan tree with long hanging aerial roots and pale-barked branches. In the foreground a small raised circular platform holds a red-painted stone mound with a tall metal trident-like stand and a standing deity murti draped in red cloth and garlands. Three people stand nearby on sandy ground: a woman in an orange sari-style garment on the left, and two men in white dhoti-and-shirt ritual clothes, one wearing an orange shawl with a flower garland. The setting looks like an outdoor shrine or puja spot.

Night-time ritual in an open pavilion decorated with hanging orange and yellow paper lanterns, green leaves and fairy lights. At centre, a figure in saffron robes stands behind a low white-covered altar, with a red cloth draped over a raised ceremonial object; a man in white dhoti and yellow shawl stands nearby. Several devotees in saffron and orange robes sit on the floor in the foreground, one with a long braid, and a woman in a saffron-bordered robe sits at right. Brass kalashas, lamps and marigold garlands sit on the altar, with a deity murti and flowers at the right edge. Several participants are in yellow and white ritual dress, placing hands together in prayer.

A photograph taken outdoors under a large banyan tree at an ashram grounds. On the left, a red-painted mound with a black-and-white bordered base holds a dark deity murti decorated with a multicoloured garland and a metal figure. A man in white shirt and dhoti walks in the middle distance. In the centre, a bald-headed man in white robes with a red-bordered shawl walks on a sandy path, accompanied by a woman in a maroon sari and another woman in an orange-and-brown sari. On the right foreground, a figure in an orange saffron robe with long dark hair walks away, carrying an object. Other people in white and orange clothing stand behind, and a dark mat lies on the ground near the tree trunks.

Outdoor evening ritual at night beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. A man in an orange robe sits cross-legged on a mat holding a lit flame, while a woman in lavender robes beside him handles a lamp. Around them a large seated group of devotees in white and pale clothing sits on the ground, some holding lamps and offering trays. In the lower right foreground a seated figure in an orange robe with a white flower garland and an ornate gold belt faces the ritual. A small lamp rests on a brass tray with fruit and flowers, and a mic stand stands nearby. The setting suggests a puja or aarti at night.

Dusk at a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. Four people stand before a silver-toned deity murti draped in red cloth, beside a mound of red offerings encircled by a patterned border. A woman in an orange sari with a red shawl stands on the left with hands joined in prayer. Two men in white dhotis and orange shawls stand beside her, hands folded. On the right, a man in white and an orange shawl raises a camera toward the murti. A metal pole rises beside the shrine. The scene reads as a devotional outdoor worship at the tree.
