Four people stand in a cream-walled room with a gold-and-maroon tufted throne behind them and a zebra-print cushion above. On the left, a man in a white dhoti and a red-gold brocade shawl holds a silver plate of oranges and apples. Beside him, a long-haired man in saffron-orange robes, rudraksha malas, gold necklaces and white forehead and arm markings presents fruit. Next, a shaved-headed man in pink and orange cloth holds a tray with a box, and on the right a woman in orange robes stands with palms joined in greeting. A small table holds a glass and a brass oil lamp. The long-haired man in saffron, a person candidate by his distinctive hair, rudraksha and gold cues, is presenting the fruit offering.

Beside him a man in a gold-and-pink brocade shawl over white clothes, with a white tilak on his forehead, holds a small box. In the centre a long-haired figure with a white tilak, bare-chested under an orange cloth and wearing a gold necklace, smiles and holds a silver plate. Another shaven-headed man in pink and yellow cloth holds a silver plate with a small lamp. On the right a woman in orange robes with a red shawl watches. A gold-and-red throne with a zebra-print cushion sits behind them. A plate with oil lamp and offerings rests on a low table.

A photograph of three men on a stage in front of deep maroon draped curtains. On the left, an elderly man in an orange turban and orange robe, wearing dark sunglasses, a white shawl and layered beaded necklaces, smiles while holding a clear-wrapped bundle of fruit with a pink bow together with a man on the right. In the centre, a man with long dark hair, a white tilak and a red bindi wears a red and gold brocade shawl over an orange garment and red rudraksha beads, smiling down at the offering. On the right, a bald man in an orange cloth bare-shouldered holds the other side of the bundle and a book. A fourth figure is partly visible behind the left man. A photograph of a temple-style ritual in an indoor corridor with pale yellow walls. A bare-chested priest with a white-and-red tilak on his forehead and a pink-and-gold dhoti holds out a large silver tray of bananas, fruit and offerings. Beside him a younger man in orange robes holds a dark object, and at right a long-haired figure in an orange shawl over a red sleeveless top wears a white and pink flower garland and holds the tray's edge, smiling. A bearded man in orange with a rudraksha mala stands at the far right edge. Framed devotional pictures lean against the wall behind. The person in the orange shawl with long swept-back hair, flower garland and red top shows cues consistent with the page's reference, so the candidate is labelled as a probable Swamiji presence, though the appearance is only partly visible.

Behind them a bald man in an orange-brown dhoti with a beaded necklace stands near a seated woman in red, and a silver staff with a finial is at left.
