In the centre, a barefoot man in a maroon-brown robe wears a long white and yellow flower garland and a gold pendant necklace, with a red bindi on his forehead. Behind him, a bare-chested attendant in orange cloth holds a tall ornate parasol with colourful fringe. Men in orange and white dhotis stand nearby, and women and girls in orange saris stand with palms pressed together in anjali along the carpet. Behind them is a decorated altar area with a golden structure and a deity murti. The scene reads as a ceremonial procession.2017-09-02Indoor photograph inside a white tented pavilion with a red carpet runner and golden ornate thrones lining the walls. A man in a long rust-orange robe with gold trim walks at centre, carrying nothing, with long dark hair. Beside him a man holds up a large yellow canopy umbrella with red pole and beaded fringe. Several men in white dhotis with gold-bordered shawls and gold beaded garlands walk alongside. An older bearded man in saffron-orange robe leans on a walking staff. A man in white holds a small drum. Air conditioning units hang from the tent frame.2016-04-20
