Four women sit cross-legged on the floor before a rose-pink wall in a ritual setting, arranging brass puja items on mats. The woman in the centre foreground wears an orange sari with a dark maroon border and a vermilion-marked forehead, and she places offerings onto a brass plate. Behind her, a woman in a white sari with a green-bordered pallu and a red shawl sits beside a woman in white with a red shawl who holds a small plate. At the right, a smiling woman in a cream sari with a red shawl holds a brass plate and lamp. Brass lamps, a small bell-shaped vessel, plates of yellow rice and sliced fruit, white shells and a dark backpack are visible on red and orange cloths. Pada puja or a similar offering ritual is suggested by the arrangement.
