A photograph of a long communal dining hall where people are being served a meal on green banana leaves along a stainless-steel serving counter. In the foreground a man in a light striped shirt stands at left, while several men in white shirts and white dhotis reach toward the leaves and serving bowls. At right, a woman in a white sari with a gold-and-maroon border and red bangles serves from a steel bowl. Stainless-steel pots and tumblers sit on the counter. Plain pale-blue walls, ceiling fans and fluorescent tube lights frame the room, with many more people visible in the background.

Photograph of a crowded food-serving scene at a Nithyananda Spurana event. A central man wears an orange saffron robe, an orange turban and a long dark swept-back hair with rudraksha beads around his neck; he holds a steel plate of food and looks down. Around him, several men in white shirts and white dhotis hold steel plates and bowls of rice, curry and sweets, some with their hands extended forward. A woven basket and steel vessels are visible at the top. Probable Swamiji (central figure in saffron robe, orange turban, long swept-back hair and rudraksha beads), serving food as part of annadan.

Outdoor food distribution at night. A man in a white short-sleeved shirt and blue-checked lungi stands at left, serving yellow rice from a large steel vessel with a ladle. Beside him a man in a light blue shirt and checked lungi leans over the vessel. Several hands reach in from the right holding steel plates and cups to receive the food. The vessel sits on a green metal cart with chains. No identifiable a person depiction is present; the scene shows volunteers serving annadan.

A night-time communal food service under a colourful tarp canopy, with steel pots of rice and steel plates. A woman in white with a white shawl and a lanyard serves from a large pot. Beside her, a man in white with a head covering and gloves serves food, and a woman in a teal sari stands in the line. In the foreground a man in a white sleeveless vest and dhoti-style lungi, with a red tilak on his forehead and a rudraksha-style mala, holds out a steel plate. Nearby, people in white and a man with a lanyard wait and help. Visible people number roughly six to eight, serving annadan-style meal distribution.

Several wear necklaces with pendants and lanyard-style name badges. In the foreground, a man in a white shirt holds a white plate with flowers and food, while another man on the right holds a plate. Behind them, a long white-draped table is set with plates and items, and a tall silver drape hangs at the right. Portrait banners and flowers decorate the background stage area.
