Night outdoor festival scene with devotees holding small brass oil lamps with flames, lit by string lights of green, purple and blue bokeh overhead. In the foreground a young man with short brown hair, bare-chested and wearing an orange dhoti and a thin necklace, extends a lit lamp toward the camera while sitting in a row. Beside him a young woman in a dark sleeveless top with a bindi holds a lamp, and other devotees, some in saffron-toned or white garments, hold lamps and sit along the rows. Black cushions or mats are visible in front of them. The mood is a Karthigai Deepam style lamp offering. Watermarked credit omitted.

Photograph of a seated group of men in an indoor hall with red curtains and stage lights, performing a ritual. They are bare-chested, wearing white dhotis with red-and-gold borders and red-brown rudraksha malas. Several hold small brass or silver vessels and lamps raised toward the front, and brass plates with offerings sit before them. A shaved-headed man in the foreground, lit from the side, looks forward while raising a cup, and a light-haired man appears at the far right edge. Several other participants are partly visible in the background, some in pale pink or cream clothing. The setting suggests a puja or aarti offering.
