July 10 20152015-07-10A photograph of an indoor ritual setting in which a man with long dark hair tied in a bun and a white forehead mark, wearing an orange-gold shawl and a beaded rudraksha-style necklace, lays his right hand on the forehead of a shaven-headed young man in an orange robe with beaded malas and a small earring. The recipient has eyes closed and a palm raised in a gesture of reception. Behind them, a seated woman in orange and a second seated woman in a cream sari with a pale fan and red curtains are present, and a gold-coloured object is in the lower left foreground. The scene suggests a blessing or initiation moment in an ashram hall. Probable Swamiji wearing the orange-gold shawl, long swept-back hair and ornate necklace is placing his hand in blessing; the image is consistent with a Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam satsang event.2013-11-05September 02 20132013-09-02October 10 20152015-10-10A seated priest in a rust-brown and gold-bordered dhoti-style cloth with white vibhuti marks on his forehead and orange-red beaded necklaces places his right hand on the forehead of a shaven-headed man in an orange-red robe and rudraksha mala, who has white tilak marks and an earring. Behind them a seated woman in a maroon robe and dark beads watches, and two people in cream and white stand in a room with red curtains. The scene resembles a forehead blessing or initiation during a ritual.2013-11-05May 09 20152015-05-09February 25 20132013-02-25September 02 20132013-09-02September 02 20132013-09-02February 19 20152015-02-19A photo of a seated figure with bare upper body, a yellow-orange marigold garland with green leaves, and a gold-coloured tilak on the forehead, placing one hand on the head of a young man in an orange saffron robe and rudraksha mala. The young man stands with eyes lowered, hands raised to the sides of his face, in a warmly lit hall with a framed painting on the wall behind and a silver-toned staff beside them. A peacock-feather fan and gold ornament appear at the edge of the frame. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long swept-back hair, a bare chest with a gold-coloured tilak, a marigold garland and a rudraksha mala, which are distinctive ceremonial cues, and is giving a blessing to the young man, who is a devotee or disciple.2014-05-14A photograph of a ritual blessing in front of a red backdrop. A bald man in white kurta with an orange-edged collar and rudraksha mala, palms pressed together, receives a blessing as a man in orange-saffron robes and a rudraksha mala with a gold necklace places his right hand on the recipient's forehead. The blessing giver is bare-chested with an orange shawl and white tilak on his forehead, appearing to be an appearance-based a person, while a monastic in orange stands behind them. Another person in white stands at the left edge, and a camera is visible at the upper right.2012-08-22 +1 copies
