A night-time photograph at an outdoor sacred grove under large banyan trees. A priest in a red dhoti and bare chest holds a lit oil lamp, aarti-style, before a seated white-clad figure with a golden crown, a stone deity murti with a black stone figure and white cloth on the right, and a red-stained stone platform. To the left, a man in a saffron-orange shawl stands with palms joined, next to several men in white dhotis and a man in khaki trousers holding a bundle of cloth. Offerings and flowers lie on a cushion and straw at the base of the figure. The priest is not described as a person; no qualifying cues are established.

Outdoor photo beneath a large old banyan tree with aerial roots, at a ritual site with a bamboo fence. On the left a man in a white shirt and white dhoti carries a garlanded deity murti wrapped in red and white flower garlands, placed on a blue and gold cloth. Beside him a bearded man in white dhoti stands near a man in orange robes. A man in a red patterned shirt and dark trousers holds an orange cloth. A young man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a red-and-white garland stands with hands folded in anjali. On the right a man in orange and yellow cloth holds a tray of lit lamps and red flowers for aarti, and another man in white dhoti with a yellow shawl stands with folded hands. The scene suggests a puja or padapuja at the banyan tree, with about seven people visible.

Outdoor temple scene beneath a large banyan tree with aerial roots. A figure in an orange saffron garment with a white and multicoloured flower garland holds a lit flame or lamp near the trunk, apparently performing an offering. Beside him stand a man in white ritual dress with an orange shawl and another man in orange robes, with several people in white and orange clothing and a bystander in a light shirt at left. In the foreground are a dark stone naga-like serpent sculpture and a red-painted stone shrine element. Several people stand in the background among the tree.

Outdoor photo beneath a large banyan tree with dense aerial roots. A dark stone shivalinga or deity murti on a red-painted base is garlanded with white, yellow and red flower garlands and draped in white cloth. In the foreground, a man in saffron/orange robes stands with palms pressed together in namaste beside a man in white ritual clothes also with hands folded. A woman in a green top stands at left, an older man in white clothes with hands folded stands behind, and a cameraman in orange and white records the scene at right. Other people in white clothes stand in the background, and a red drum or drum-like object is visible near the centre. Dappled sunlight falls on the sandy ground.
