A photograph of a temple ritual at a golden arch decorated with garlands in green, yellow, orange and purple. A figure seen from behind, with long dreadlocked hair, wears a rust-red turban, a pink-and-white flower garland and gold bangles, and is touching the forehead of a golden deity murti wearing a jeweled crown, gold earrings, a purple and teal silk garment and a garland. Gold ceremonial items with rounded finials stand in the foreground. Visible people: one, seen from behind; the deity is a murti, not a physical person.2017-11-11A figure with long dreadlocked black hair and a red beaded mala, wearing orange-red cloth, reaches toward a golden deity murti seated in a decorated space. The murti wears a gold crown, a large gold necklace set with red and green stones, gold earrings and a red dhoti-style garment, and holds a golden trident-like staff. Behind it are heaped garlands of yellow, red, white and green flowers and gold-toned ornamental carvings. The figure appears to be performing a ritual adornment or offering at the deity. The figure's identity is not established from appearance, so this is a role-based description.2016-07-19December 23 20162016-12-23July 09 20172017-07-09A person in a saffron-orange sleeveless top and matching dhoti stands on the left, wearing a white flower garland, and reaches up to adorn the head of a seated deity murti. The murti is a gilded figure wearing an orange-and-white turban-style crown, a pink blouse, a teal and gold silk sari, and heavy silver and gold jewellery, with a rounded silver halo-like ornament behind. Yellow marigold garlands with red, purple and green bands frame the golden arch behind it. Brass lamps and a flower-filled plate sit at the lower left, and an ornate gold-carved arch frames the scene.2009-12-27A man in orange-brown clothing with long dark hair and a rudraksha-style orange-brown shawl stands at left, one hand resting on the golden crown of a deity murti. The gold-faced murti wears a jewelled crown, earrings, a garland of white and red flowers, and holds a golden trident-like staff at right. Behind them are a gold-trimmed canopy, green draping, and red and yellow flower arrangements. The man's face is turned to the side and his arm is bare with a gold armlet.2013-04-14December 22 20102010-12-22Night photograph of a temple worship scene before a large golden hooded serpent canopy (naga-like). A bare-backed man with long dreadlocked hair, wearing a purple and blue flower garland, stands in the foreground with his hands near the decorated deity murti. The murti wears a silver crown, ornate gold jewellery, an orange and gold drape, and is surrounded by white jasmine, red roses and yellow marigold garlands. A silver oil lamp stands beside the deity, and a dark stone figure with a white garland stands at right.
